Karin Orsel honoured with “Industry Leader Award’

She's been a familiar face in the global maritime sector for some time. She is determined and tireless and holds many international board positions in the maritime sector, which she claims to be her addiction.

Karin Orsel, CEO, MF Shipping Group  On Tuesday evening 26 November, she received the  “Industry Leader Award 2019” at the Tanker Shipping & Trade Conference in London; an award considered to be amongst the most prestigious in the maritime sector. The award recognises people who set and achieve new industry standards and who make an important contribution to the Tanker market sector. The award is also a deserved and respected mark of appreciation from sector colleagues.

The award was utterly unexpected to Karin Orsel who said “I really didn't see that coming and I’m massively proud”. The award was presented by Katharina Stanzel, Managing Director of INTERTANKO, who paid tribute to Karin and referred to her as a passionate, exceptional woman and entrepreneur.
