Launching of newbuild project MV Tidan.
At exactly 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning, 9 May 2025, the fourth vessel in the innovative Lake Vänern Max series was ceremoniously launched at Ferus Smit Shipyard in Westerbroek: the MV Tidan. This sustainable vessel, owned by our partner Erik Thun Group, marks an important milestone in the series of six environmentally friendly cargo vessels.
Two classes from Sint Nicolaasschool attended this festive event. They were given an educational tour of the shipyard and enjoyed poffertjes, which is a great way to inspire the next generation about technology and sustainability.
